Summary:

The clients brief included the provision of a termite resistant home, with significant environmental features to accomodate the unique requirements of their family.

The project was designed by Sola Solutions, with structural design by Cardno Engineering.

The project was constructed utilising a construction management approach, with MJ Wood Management providing both project and site management services.

A cost saving of $ 500,000 to budget was secured as a consequence of the following initiatives:

              Construction Management delivery model, in lieu of engaging a builder

              Rigorous trade package tendering process

              Value Engineering of the Design to improve constructibility

              Strict trade contract administration

              Thorough site planning and coordination
