The fit out of the Greenwich Data Centre was completed on programme and below budget.

Summary:

The Greenwich Data Centre is a purpose built data centre and disaster recovery site for BT Financial Group.

The existing disaster recovery centre and data centres were consolidated from Sydney to the existing BT Financial Group facility at Greenwich.

The works were completed and BT Financial Group were successfully relocated to the state of the art data centre on time, whilst successfully maintaining the operation of the business and the adjacent tenants including the Sydney Futures Exchange.

The strict attention to detail during the design phase, and the detailed planning and cost management during the construction phase, were key aspects to the success of this project.
