Builder - Selection and Engagement

Following completion of the detailed design documentation, MJ Wood Management will prepare and issue a suite of tender documents (including the proposed building contract) to a list of approved builders.

The list of approved builders is selected in consultation with the client, following an extensive investigation and due diligence process.

MJ Wood Management will assess the tenders for compliance with the tender documents, prior to convening interviews with the short listed candidates.

Tenders are assessed on cost, programme, financial capacity, project team, company culture, quality management systems and safety management approach.

MJ Wood Management will prepare a tender assessment report complete with a recommendation for the client, prior to managing the execution of the contract with the successful builder.
